Our story
Hi, I'm Carly.
I've spent years working alongside children and young people, and one thing has stayed with me: children feel safest when they know what's coming next.
Grounded Days began at my kitchen table in South Australia, making simple visual tools for the families I knew. They're calm to look at, kind in their language, and built on trauma-informed practice, so they support children rather than pressure them.
I hope they bring a little more ease to your mornings, your evenings and everything in between.
With warmth, Carly x
What trauma-informed means here
- 01
Predictable
Clear pictures and steady routines help little nervous systems feel safe.
- 02
Kind words
Every tool uses connected, shame-free language. No 'naughty', no 'bad'.
- 03
Choice & voice
Children help choose, tick and decide, so the routine becomes theirs.
- 04
Effort over perfection
We celebrate trying. Stars are never taken away.
